About Stephen J. Hecker

Stephen J. Hecker grew up in New Orleans. He attended St. Dominic Grammar School and Jesuit High School, then went on to the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. During his junior year, he came home to New Orleans to work in the family business.

He graduated from the University of New Orleans with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Business Management, then attended and graduated from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law, all while continuing to work in the family business. Those years in the family business gave him a practical, business-minded approach to handling claims.

Since graduating, Stephen has worked with both insurance defense and plaintiff law firms, so he has seen how injury claims are handled from both sides of the table. Through dedication and hard work, he opened his own law firm in the heart of New Orleans in 2016.

Since then, he has helped personal injury victims throughout the state. With offices in Alexandria and Ferriday as well as New Orleans, the firm can help accident victims no matter where they are in Louisiana.
